CHIYU Europe Gymnasium Case Study - Centralized Management System with Digital I/O Controller for Gymnasium Light Control

Application Scenario - Centralized Management System with Light Control
A gymnasium in Europe required an effective way to manage nighttime court usage and ensure that LED lighting would only be available to paying users, preventing unnecessary energy consumption.
Centralized Management System Solution
- BF-1010 Digital I/O Controller: Controls the court LED lighting on/off
- SOMAC Server: Provides top-up and deduction functions; users must charge credit before activating the lights
How Centralized Management System Works
Members or users top up their accounts through the SOMAC system. When accessing the court, the digital I/O controller triggers the LED lights to turn on. Once the credit balance is used up, the lights automatically switch off, ensuring fair usage and proper energy management.
Benefits of Centralized Management System
- Energy saving: The digital I/O controller prevents unnecessary power consumption by switching off lights when credits expire.
- Fair charging mechanism: LED lighting is only accessible to users who have paid, ensuring a transparent and fair system
- Centralized management: Through the SOMAC centralized management system, administrators can easily manage user accounts, monitor transactions, and streamline operations in one platform.
