Europe Gymnasium Case

Application Scenario

A gymnasium in Europe required an effective way to manage nighttime court usage and ensure that LED lighting would only be available to paying users, preventing unnecessary energy consumption.

Solution

  • BF-1010 I/O Controller: Controls the court LED lighting on/off
  • SOMAC Server: Provides top-up and deduction functions; users must charge credit before activating the lights

How It Works

Members or users top up their accounts through the SOMAC system. When accessing the court, the I/O controller is triggered, and the LED lights turn on. Once the credit balance is used up, the lights automatically switch off, ensuring fair usage and proper energy management.

Benefits

  • Energy saving: Prevents unnecessary power consumption
  • Fair charging mechanism: Lights only available to users who pay
  • Centralized management: Simplified operation through SOMAC server integration
